Ether

I think this is one of my all time favorites. Ether is a space dyed wool that has a teensy amount of angelina thrown in for some shimmer. Ether is 437 yards long. I envision a lace weight shawl made with this yarn, something breezy and airy to catch the wind.

Harvest was inspired by a shelf in my favorite bookstore (Thank you Next Page) The books on that particular shelf are arranged in every shade of orange, brown and gold. I cannot walk by the shelf without caressing the spine of one or two books on the shelf. Harvest is a sock weight blend of wool, alpaca and angelina. Wool makes it strong enough to keepoff the freezing winds of Alaska.  Alpaca gives the yarn just enough softness that you can cuddle Harvest close to you.  The angelina gives the yarn that flash, like a sunset on the tree. I love fall.

I recently took a trip to Indiana. I had such a fun time, I went to every fiber store I could find and bought  “a little something”. Now that my stash cabinets are full, expect to see new yarn in the next few weeks. My personal favorite is the Mass Ave Knit Shop. If you’re passing through  Indianapolis – Stop by!
