Good day, Sunshine

Living on Kodiak Island could be tough. When there are  thirty grey days in a row, it’s hard not to be pessimistic.  Kodiak made me appreciate the sun. The way the rays reach through your skin and warm your hair. The way everything at sunrise gets a butter gold glow.  In Indiana the sun can get a deep orange cast, so unlike the lukewarm rays up North.

My first Big City Yarn is Sunshine, a tribute to Indiana’s golden rays. I really dig the way the bamboo clouds turned out! It’s 75% Wool 25% Bamboo
